Debra (Nelson) Whitt, age 65 of Rochester-Grand Mound, Washington and formerly of Foley, died May 12, 2018 from undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma. Memorial Services will 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 16 , 2018 at Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church, rural Foley. Rev.

Jeff Starnes will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home. Debra (Nelson) Whitt was born April 9, 1953 in Rochester, Minnesota to Jerome and Shirley (Poole) Nelson. Debra worked in sales most of her life and also worked at the University of Minnesota with ROTC students, something she was very proud of.

After her retirement, she moved to Washington. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Debra was known for her infectious laugh and good nature.

She is survived by her daughter and sons: Deanna (Scott) Dingmann, Foley; Denny (Kim) Stauffenecker, Rochester, WA; Derek (Teneal) Gustafson, Rochester, WA; Dustin (Kelli) Gustafson, Tumwater, WA, 11 grandchildren: Chase, Kenzie, Eric, Sabrian, Haley, Brittni, Olivia, Timothy, Lincoln, Rylan and Peyton, 5 great grandchildren: Ashlyn, Kendall, Brody, Landyn and Romy. She is also survived by her brother, Kim (Julie) Nelson, Excelsior, MN and a sister, Renee (Harry Jedlicki) Nelson of Ham Lake and niece and nephews: Francesca (Bill) Scott; D.J. Booher and children, Otto and Addison and Kolton Thedens. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kristine Nelson.
