OBITUARY Dedra K. Barber December 7, 1964 – October 31, 2018 North Myrtle Beach Dedra K. Barber, 53, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father on October 31, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and caring friends. Born on December 7, 1964 in Raleigh, NC, she was the daughter of Woodley and Faye Kennedy. Dedra was a compassionate person who purposely sought to enrich and brighten the lives of others.

Her creative mind and dynamic character kept her busy with a project at all times. She was a faithful servant of Christ in how she loved and gave unconditionally. Dedra most valued the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Barber; four sons, Ethan, Peyton, Matthew, Isaiah; two daughter, Deana Stepanic (Steven), Christina; brother, Craig Kennedy (Karen Elkins); sister, Lisa Kennedy; two grandchildren, Oliver and Scarlett Stepanic; and her faithful pets, Cody and Simon. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, November 4 at Little River United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little River United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 160, Little River, SC 29566 or Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 1930 Charlie Hall Blvd.
