Obituary Delbert F. Pullum, 98, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at his home on May 12, 2019. Delbert was born on June 23, 1920, in Sullivan County, Indiana, the son of Carl “Jack” Esten Pullum and Zelma Pullum (Terry). He graduated from Hymera High School with the class of 1938.

Following high school he enrolled in the Civilian Conservation Corps. During his time with the corps he was sent to bakers training. This afforded him the opportunity to serve in the United States Navy Seabees as a baker.
