Delfina Lopez Ortiz, age 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 29th, 1933 in Georgetown, Texas to Luis and Pauline Lopez. She is survived by her five daughters Marylou Hernandez and husband, Richard, Rosa Perez and husband, Emilio, Beatrice Lopez, Yolanda Reyna and husband, Edward, and Elizabeth Ortiz; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and four siblings, Betty, Lucy, Becky, and David.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Manuel Ortiz; and son, Francisco Ortiz. She will be missed deeply by many. The graveside service to honor her will be held Friday July 27th, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Englewood Slaton Cemetery located at 1100 North 20th St., Slaton Texas 79364.
