Mrs. Delilah Sanford, age 61 of Berry, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 1-P.M. from Pea Ridge Community Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The body will lie in state Saturday from 12-1 P.M. at the church. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home. Survivors include her mother: Esta Mae Nuckols of Berry, one son: Jonathan Sanford of Berry, two daughters: Kim Smith (Chris) of Fayette, Samantha Carrier (Johnathon) of Northport, three brothers: Lee Kimbrell of GA, Ray Kimbrell of Berry, and Mike Kimbrell of Fayette, six sisters: Glenda Sweat of TN, Melissa Pelfrey of Parrish, Anita Kimbrell of Berry, Christy Oswalt of Northside, Mary Thacker of Berry, and Jaime Nuckols of Fayette, and three grandchildren: Gracie Smith, Bradley Smith, and Landon Carrier.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Dennis “Bo” Sanford, and her father: David Kimbrell. Pallbearers will be: Wesley Oswalt, Jesse Thacker, Mike Oswalt, Cody Fondren, Howard Pelfrey, and Colin Smith.
