Obituary for Delilah June Maney Print Delilah June Maney, 81 of Swannanoa entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Viola Andrews and a son Johnny Wade Maney. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Paul Maney; two sons, Joel Maney (Tammy) and Randall Maney (Vicky); 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by sisters, Glenda Helton and Teresa Andrews; and brother, Jimmy Andrews. Delilah ran Humpty Dumpty Daycare in Swannanoa for 57 years. She loved children and was active in Children’s Church Ministries at both Swannanoa Free Will Baptist Church and Trinity Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to “Love Lites”, a fund for local cancer patients. Memorials can be mailed to Love Lites at 21 Hospital Drive, 4th floor, Asheville, NC 28801. At Delilah’s request, there will be no public services.
