Della Hawkins Kitzmiller, age 69 of Lake City, Tennessee, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. Della was born December 2, 1949 in Campbell County, Tennessee to the late LeRoy and LeOpal Marlow Hawkins. She was a member of the Little Cove Creek Baptist Church in Caryville, TN.

Della loved to camp, ginseng and any activity with her grandkids. She is preceded in death by parents, her husband Marvin Kitzmiller, brothers: David and Daniel Hawkins, Genis and wife Robin Hawkins, sisters: baby Betty Hawkins, Patsy “Lucy” Sandefur, brother-in-laws Carl Kitzmiller, Tom Gregg and sister-in-law Dorothy Porter. Survivors: Sons Ricky Kitzmiller and wife Kim Bobby Kitzmiller and wife Chanda Daughter Cassie Carroll Sisters Ralphine Malicoat and husband Ronnie Becky Bell and husband Elmer Lois Gregg Brother Jeff Hawkins and wife Jeannie Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law Donna Mae and Carol Wayne Brewer Grandchildren Kyanna, Colby, Cameron, Donovan, Rayvn and Peyton Great Grandchild to be Kalani Grace Special Great Niece and Great Nephew Sammie and Damon Moerch A host of several nieces, nephews and relatives that mourn her passing Della’s family would like to give special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Fresenius Dialysis of Oak Ridge for all the care and support they’ve shown the family.

Jeff Hawkins officiating. Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 10:30 to go in funeral procession to the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City, TN for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
