Della Jane Jackson, 88 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at her home. She was born on February 25, 1931 to Jacob L. and Mary S. Lewis Browning in Utica, IN. She was a retired Bagger for I.C.I. of Americas and was a past member of the Daughters of the Rebekah.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Jackson; daughter, Brenda Carlisle; granddaughter, Tara Lyn Evans; siblings, J. L. Browning, Julia Mae Eddins, Achie Hance, Zelma Baxter, Taylor Browning, Dora Browning, Dorothy Browning, James William Browning and Paul Bruce Browning. Della is survived by her daughter, Laura R. Evans of Charlestown; son, Burt Jackson (Linda) of Charlestown; grandchildren, Christene, Amy Jo, Michael (Judy), Tim (Becky), Tracy, Michelle (David) and Brian; 18 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Monday May 6, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday and after 9 am on Monday.
