Della R. Hodges, age 87 of Oldenburg, died Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home. Born November 15, 1931 in Cincinnati, she is the daughter of Ruth (Nee: Beaudry) and Earl Kennedy. She married Robert Hodges June 24, 1950 in Cincinnati and he preceded her in death July 21, 1999.

Della was very devout and spent much of her time in prayer. She is survived by her daughters Karen Nance of Oldenburg, Kathleen Meer of Cincinnati; sons Michael Hodges of Cincinnati, Fr. Jonathan Stewart of Oldenburg; sister Audrey Lipps of Cincinnati; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by her son Robert Hodges and brother Phillip Kennedy. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15th, from 10 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held immediately following visitation at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Hamburg.
