Delmar Glenn Sparks Jr., age 68 of Gallatin, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2018 at the Skyline Medical Center. A native of Flatwoods, Kentucky, he was born to the late Juanita (Short) Sparks and Delmar Glenn Sparks Sr., who survives. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sparks.

Mr. Sparks was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Marshall University and had recently retired as an accountant for Deloitte, where he had worked for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Sparks of Gallatin; son, Brian Rice of Virginia; daughter, Kimberly Keith of Ohio; father, Delmar Glenn Sparks Sr. of Kentucky; and sister, Terri Wages of Kentucky. No public services are planned at this time.
