OBITUARY Deloria Mary Brown Gibson July 8, 1940 – September 21, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Deloria Mary Brown Gibson, 78, of Blount, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston. Deloria was born in Charleston on July 8, 1940 to the late Holbert and Wavey Crowder Brown. She was a homemaker and loved to hunt, fish and go camping.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deloris Jean Gibson; sisters, Ellen Wherley, Aretta Brown, Pricie Brown and Sabie Taylor; and brothers, Racel, Donald, Dallas, Albert, Sebert and Malley Brown. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Floyd Gibson; sons, Doug (Loretta) Gibson of Blount, Randy (Vierra) Gibson of Charleston, Ricky (Rita) Gibson of St. Albans, Mike (Billie Jo) Gibson of Dunbar, Floyd Gibson of Blount; sister, Retha Brown of Blount; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday September 26, 2018 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Rev.

Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Garten Cemetery, Blount. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
