Dennis Cantrell June 14, 1957 – April 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Dennis “Big Bird” Cantrell, age 61, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Clara Cantrell. Survivors include his wife Joan Fussell-Cantrell; son Caleb Lee Cantrell; stepsons Charles (Tracey) McWilliams and Tegan (Kim) McCullough; stepdaughters Christi Lynn Brown and Barbie Leigh Fussell; grandchildren Riley McWilliams, Shelby Brown, and Destiny Brown; and special friends Zach Corley, Scottie Yant, Jimmy Lewis, and Joe Wilkes.

Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1st from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Thursday, May 2nd from 10 A.M. until 8 P.M., and Friday, May 3rd from 10 A.M. until the hour of Service at 1 P.M. with Bro. Joe Johnson officiating. In celebration of his life, the family asks that you wear a NASCAR T-Shirt on the day of Service to honor his love of NASCAR.

If you do not have a NASCAR T-Shirt, please wear your favorite T-Shirt. Interment follows at Randall-Parker Cemetery in Scottsboro.
