Mr. Dennis “Denny” Beaman, 72 of Langleyville, IL passed from this life at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Taylorville, IL June 17, 1946 the son of Miller R. and Mary E. (Huber) Beaman. Denny graduated from Taylorville High School.

He married Connie McElfresh on June 23, 1997 in Taylorville, IL. Mr. Beaman was a member of the Catholic Faith. He worked for more than 20 years at Peabody Mine #10 near Pawnee.

Denny later worked for 6 years at NAPA Auto parts, Taylorville and helped with appliance repair at Sebben’s in Langleyville. Mr. Beaman enjoyed camping, canoeing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, a Cardinal’s fan and he enjoyed being outdoors and working in the yard.

Surviving are his wife Connie of Langleyville, IL a daughter Lorinda Lamken-Finnell and her husband John Finnell of Springfield, IL sons Robert and his wife Michelle Beaman of Taylorville, IL Tom and his wife Dena Mozie of Taylorville, IL a daughter Kim and her husband Harold Woods of Charleston, IL a son Rob Mozie and his fiancée Jen Law of Taylorville, IL. , a sister Barb Bauer and 3 brothers Jack (wife Earlene) Beaman, Darrel (wife Bev) Beaman all of Taylorville, IL and Bill Beaman of Dixon, Iowa 13 grandchildren: Travis, Jake and Connor Lamken, Zach, Bryce and Heather Beaman, Olyvia and Alyse Mozie, Nich, Joe and Lucas McDevitt, and Hailey and Blake Mozie, along with several nieces and nephews. Denny was preceded in death by an infant daughter Theresa Kay Beaman and his parents.

Visitation for Mr. Beaman will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, IL. A Wake Vigil Service will be held at the beginning of the visitation officiated by Monsignor David Lantz. Burial will take place at a later date.
