Obituary for Dennis L. Sullenberger Dennis L. Sullenberger, 71, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 at home. He was born March 21, 1947 in Scottdale, a son of the late Franklin and Dorothy (Eicher) Sullenberger. Dennis was a retired chemist for Henkel Chemicals Co., Madison Heights, MI.

He was a member and elder at the First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, where he taught the adult Sunday School class and was a member of the Men’s Prayer Fellowship and a former member of the church softball team. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Kathy A. (Sterba) Sullenberger; his daughters Cheryl Schock and her husband Edwin and Rebecca Cox and her husband Joseph both of North Huntingdon; and his grandchildren Sydney and Mackenzie Schock and Benjamin, Emily, and Daniel Cox. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Ronald H. Wakeman, officiating. Those wishing may contribute to the Redstone Benevolent Care Fund. For online condolences please visit www.
