Dennis Lee Everroad, 66, of Butlerville, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Born February 1, 1952, in Columbus, the son of Charles and Willamae (Coon) Everroad. Mr. Everroad was a 1971 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked for Arvin’s in North Vernon for 18 years and had previously worked for Table Topids in Alabama for ten years, and from 1973-1984 was a Sprint Car Driver.

He was a member of Vernon Baptist Church since 2011. Mr. Everroad enjoyed collecting wolves, woodworking, fishing, hunting, and racing. He is survived by his sons, Shannon (Tara) Everroad of Commiskey and Shane (Marie) Everroad of Greenwood; daughters, Tessa (Donald) Freeman of Melbourne, Florida, Cayela (Brian) Sherrin and Sierra Everroad both of Alabama; brothers, Kenny (Patti) Everroad of Scipio; sisters, Caye Bearry of Scipio, Pam (Mark) Harsh of Alabama and Patty (Joe) Palmer of North Vernon; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Don Morris officiating.

Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon. Memorials may be through the funeral home to the American Heart Association.
