Dennis “Big Den” Lee Quasius, 75, a resident of Dollar Bay, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Aspirus hospital in Laurium. He was born on January 1, 1943, to William and Rosemary (Destrampe) Quasius in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Dennis drove truck throughout his professional career all across the country and loved telling stories of the different times he drove through New York City and Los Angeles.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his parents; and his close friend, Mitchell McGlathery. He is survived by his brother, Robert Quasius; special friend, Shirley Beaudoin, both of Sheboygan; and many close friends in Dollar Bay and surrounding areas. Dennis was always willing to help his friends and made a huge impact on their lives.

He will always be remembered for his kindness and his sense of humor. Per Dennis’ request, there will be no funeral service. There will be a visitation at the O’Neill Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 6 p.m until 8 p.m. The O’Neill Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock is assisting with the arrangements.
