Dennis Lynn Martinson was born in Minneapolis on March 24, 1965. He became a member of the Martinson family on May 10, 1965. He graduated from Glenville High School and went on to complete two years of tech school.

Dennis worked with his father in the plumbing business. He then worked for Daikin Manufacturing doing pipefitting for 15 years. He worked on the pipeline in Valdez, Alaska.

He also worked at Hormel for several years. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to yard sales, going to concerts. He was a strong union employee and a member of Ducks Unlimited.

Dennis is survived by his son, Donavon Martinson; daughter, Nicolle Smith; grandson, Jerehmiah Jackson; father, E. Gordon Martinson; sister, Debbie (Kent) Sauke; brother, Brad (Pat) Martinson; special friend, Holly VanRiper-Melom; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and close friends, Scott Nelson and John Harsha. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Martinson.
