Dennis Patrick McDonough April 3, 1955 – April 23, 2019 It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis Patrick McDonough of Braddock Hills, Pennsylvania, announces his passing. Dennis passed away at home on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at the age of 64. Dennis was born on April 3, 1955 in Braddock, Pennsylvania to Marie Davin McDonough and John Thomas McDonough, Jr., the youngest of their family.

Dennis lived in the Pittsburgh area for most of his life and his family and friends will greatly miss him. He was a great handy man, painter, a lover of nature and all things Irish, and all around good guy. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers John “Jack” Thomas McDonough, III and Jerome “Jerry” Michael McDonough, and his sisters Elizabeth “Sissy” Davin Beighley, and Catherine “Cathy” McDonough Matsey.

He was also preceded in death by his niece Mary Anne Beighley, his great nephew Liam McDonough, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dennis is survived by his sisters-in-law, Emma Jean “Jeanie” Clark McDonough and Susan “Sue” Gregory McDonough, as well as his uncle and aunt, Robert “Bobby” and Millie McDonough, and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and cousins. Dennis was the proud uncle of Debra “Debi” McDonough, Anne (Cliff) McDonough Meade, Jennifer (James) McDonough Bonomo, Michael (Jennifer) McDonough, John (Jamie) McDonough, Kathleen “Katie” McDonough, Matthew McDonough, Marc Matsey, Kevin (Amanda) Matsey, Sean Matsey, and Joseph “Joe” McDonough.

He was an extremely proud great uncle of Noah Beighley, Sebastian Bonomo, Delaney McDonough, Charles “Charlie” Meade, John “Jack” McDonough, IV, Davin Beighley, Ainsley McDonough, Patrick McDonough, Aidan McDonough, and Mila Matsey. Dennis will be lovingly remembered as a kind, fun, always ready to help gentlemen who was larger than life. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 12:45 pm – 3:00 pm at the community room of Brinton Towers, located at 3000 Locust Street, Braddock Hills, Pennsylvania 15221.
