Dennis’ Obituary Dennis Wayne Housewright, 63, of Wylie passed away in Richardson on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Dennis was born on Wednesday, November 22, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to parents George Oscar and Lena Carol (Smith) Housewright. Dennis was in the Class of 1974 of Garland High School.

He had worked for the Garland Independent School District in the Maintenance Department. Dennis was a member of the First Baptist Church – Wylie. Dennis is survived by his longtime companion, Valeria Kay Porter, brother, Darryl Housewright, daughters, Sarah and Janet Housewright.

He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lena Housewright. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be on Monda, May 20, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. A L. Draper will officiate. Interment will follow the services at the Wylie Cemetery.
