Obituary for Dennis Muttitt Mr. Dennis Muttitt, age 73 of 145 Blackstone Rd. Hartwell, entered into rest on October 11, 2018. Born December 5, 1944 in Port Jefferson NY; he was the son of the late John S. Muttitt and Ruth Schmeelk Muttitt.

He was retired from the US Army Corp of Engineers. He was a US Army veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Hartwell.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Haney Muttitt; children, Benjamin (Holly) Muttitt of Hartwell, Becky Muttitt of Hartwell; siblings, Barbara Thomas of Long Island, NY Shirley Kowalski of Hartwell, Lillian Muttitt of Long Island, NY; grandchildren, Michaela, Morgan, Elizabeth, Rosie, Amma, Leah, and Madelyn; great grandchildren, Ava and Lexie. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Mr. Muttitt will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Two o’clock in the Chapel of the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson St, Hartwell, GA 30643.

Rev. Terry Meeks will officiate with military honors provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard. The family will be at the home and will receive friends receive friends Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 4-6 pm at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, “Beyond Our Measure” fund, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643. The Coile and Hall Funeral Directors will be assisting the family. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.
