Appalachia, Virginia Denver Thomas Rose passed away on Sunday, May 18th, 2019. Denver “Denny” was born on October 23rd, 1958. He was a lifelong resident of Appalachia and a 1977 graduate of Appalachia High School.

He loved to hunt, fish, and spending time with his beloved dog, Bandit. He is preceded in his passing by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Estelle Wells; and his maternal grandparents, Harry and Bertie Grindstaff. Denny is survived by his father, Denver F. Rose; mother Ann Rose; sisters, Mary Swiney; Lori Cole; Traci Rose; and brother, Tony Rose.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm. on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 at Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia VA. Graveside services will be conducted at 12 noon, Thursday, May 23rd at the American Legion Cemetery.
