A graveside service for Derreleen Pearl “Cutie” Alexander, 75, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Douglas Park Cemetery in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Buddy Hanson of the Mountain View Baptist Church in Mills, Wyoming officiating. Cutie Alexander died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper, Wyoming. Derreleen Alexander was born Wednesday, July 28, 1943 in Douglas, Wyoming the daughter of Derrell Grant and Frances Milford “Frankee” (Bevins) Alexander.

She was raised and educated in Douglas and graduated from the Douglas High School in 1961. She worked as an operator for the telephone company following high school. In 1972 she became a student at Casper College in Casper for two years where she received an associated degree.

She enjoyed reading Christian books. Cutie is survived by her father, Derrell Alexander, of Casper; sister, Sheri (Tom) Rupe of Casper; niece, Shana (Matt) Peterson of Parker, Colorado; nephew, Dustin (Sandy) Rupe of Boise, Idaho; and great nieces and nephews, Courtney Peterson, Kylie Peterson, Emileigh Rupe, Easton Rupe, and Brock Rupe. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frankee Alexander, on April 12, 1997.
