Désirée Gipner, 63, died in her home Saturday, March 16th, 2019, surrounded by family. Although she was born in Marietta, Georgia; she was quite young when they moved- and so she considered herself a native Californian. In 2015, she moved to Delaware to live with her daughter’s family.

She will be remembered for being a loving mother, her dry sense of humor, her willingness to help anyone without question, her unconditional friendship, her strong sense of family, the fierce love of her mother, an amazing ability to forgive, the strength to live despite daily pain, the faith she had to keep going, and her pride in her wonderful grandchildren. She will at long last be free from her earthly body, reunited with her beloved pets, her brother, her cherished mother, and father, her precious granddaughter, and many other loved ones. Desiree is survived by an Aunt, two sisters, her two children, her four grandchildren, her six nieces and nephews, a grand-niece, cousins, her best friend, and other friends and loved ones who will all remember her with smiles and love.
