DIANA HERNANDEZ CASTELLON September 08, 1945 – January 02, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Diana Hernandez Castellon, born September 8, 1945 to parents Jose Luis Hernandez and Elodia Ramirez, entered into eternal rest January 2, 2019 at the age of 72. Diana was preceded in death by he father, Jose Luis Hernandez; mother, Elodia Ramirez Hernandez; brother, Sebastian Jose Luis Hernandez; sisters, Maria Elodia Torres and Maria Hilda Soto. She is survived by her husband, Hermenehildo Castellon Jr.; brothers, Angel Agustine Hernandez, Julian Antonio Hernandez and Eloy Jesus Hernandez; sister, Elsa Elda Chavez; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and God children.

As a yound girl, Diana was a member of Las Hijas De Maria at Imaculate Conception Catholic Church. She graduated in 1964 from Harlandale High School. She was also in the choir at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

On July 27, 1974 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Diana married Herman Castellon. They were married for 44 years. She was a member of the Guadalupos Society at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

She enjoyed dancing and being with he family and friends. Diana enjoyed going to parties and get togethers and having lunch with her church sisters. She shopped for her Mary Kay products on the Home Shopping Network, QVC and JTV.

Diana was a very generous person to her family and friends. For years she worked for Crane Plumbing Supply and then worked Civil Service where she retired from, 15-20 years ago. Diana will be dearly missed.

Funeral services are as follows: Tuesday – February 5, 2019: 4-9pm visitation at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd. , San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a rosary being recited at 7pm. Wednesday -February 6, 2019: 8-9am visitation, depart at 9:30am to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana Dr., San Antonio, Texas 78218 for a 10:00am Mass.

Graveside services at 11:15am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. , San Antonio, Texas 78209.
