Obituary for Diana Ruth Burton Diana Ruth Burton was born on February 11th, 1950 in Marietta, Ohio. She passed away at the age of 68. Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Herbert Burton and Helen Burton (Thompson).

Two siblings, Raymond Herbert Burton, Jr. and David Ray Burton. One daughter, Shannon Halter (Morlan). Diana is survived by two children, Jeremy Morlan and Rachella (Arron) Sharp.

Five grandchildren, Austin Walker, Stephen Walker, Molly (Elijah) Varney, Tyonna Waddell, and Shayonna Waddell. Four siblings, Patricia (James) Newbrough, Debbie (Steve) Montgomery, Steve (Linda) Burton, and Cindy (Thomas) Kennedy and many nieces and nephews. Diana graduated from Marietta Senior High School and studied at Ohio University in Athens.

She was most recently, a beloved employee at The Law Offices of Jeffery Blankenship. Diana lived life to the fullest, evident in her outgoing personality and contiguous laugh. She was an avid sports fan, rooting on The Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team, the Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds.

Diana was a member of many clubs and organizations including the Moose Lodge and NAUS (National Association of Uniform Services) club. Please join Diana’s family on Saturday, September 29th, for a celebration of her life from 12:00PM – 3:00PM. To be held at The NAUS Club, 2799 Fisher Rd.
