Obituary Service Details Diana Sue Darnell, 70, of Boaz, formerly of Gilbertsville died on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Darnell was a former retail manager at Mr. Quick and of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are three daughters, Catherine Silkwood of Boaz, Teresa Gordon of Grand Rivers, Kimberly English of Paducah; one brother, Joseph Hert of TX; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one infant son; two sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were Alva Hert and Mary Catherine Hert. Mrs. Darnell will be cremated per her wishes.

Cremation Society of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
