Hazel Dianne Lindemood Judd, age 73, resident of Somerville and wife of Glenn Judd, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, September 19, 2018 at her residence. Funeral Services for Mrs. Judd will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Rev. Josh McClurkan and Rev.

H.B. Fields officiating. Interment will follow in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. A visitation for Mrs. Judd will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.

Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland. Mrs. Judd was born October 7, 1944 in Minot, North Dakota, the daughter of the late Glen Lindemood and the late Sina Mae Lewis Lindemood. She received her education in the Milton, Florida School System and was married to Glenn Judd.

She was most recently a resident of the Somerville area and was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Somerville. Mrs. Judd was employed as a telephone service representative before her retirement and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren “were her life”.

She enjoyed gardening, raising goats, shopping and collecting glassware and crystal. Mrs. Judd is survived by her husband, Glenn Judd of Somerville, TN; two daughters, Glenda “Lynn” Judd Dudas (Michael) of Somerville, TN, Justyne Louise Hoogland (Dale) of Seward, AK; her son, Glenn Judd, Jr. (Amanda) of Munford, TN; two sisters, Karen Starr of Martelle, IA, Toni Lund of Mankato, MN; seven grandchildren, Ben, Travis, Shelby, Caitlin, Josh, Amanda, Wyatt; and two great-granddaughters, Samantha Dianne and Anna Leigh Mae. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Glenn Judd, Jr., Michael Dudas, Buck German, Joseph Cartright, Steve Roberts and Don Sipes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sputt Garnett, Bit Melvin, June Walker, H.B. Fields, Tommy Copeland and Charlie McElwee. The family requests that memorials be directed to Shiloh United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2725 Yum Yum Road, Somerville, TN 38068 or the Fayette County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, c/o Christine Parks, 402 Midland Street, Somerville, TN 38068.
