Dillon James Sayers, “Animikiins” “Little Thunder” 26 years young, of Red Lake, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from Redby, MN. He was born on October 5, 1992 in Bemidji, MN, the son of Renae Kingbird-Beaulieu and Dwight Sayers, Jr. Dillon will always be remembered for his kind and caring ways. He loved his music!

! ! Dillon enjoyed taking his grandma Della for rides and riding around listening to his music.

He enjoyed going to the casino to try a “20”. Dillon was the protector of his family. He was always looking out for others, making sure to check on his mom and sisters, Shaleigh and Breezy, and his nieces and nephews.

Dillon was always trying to cheer or pick people up with his jokes and laughter. A life gone too soon that will be missed by all who loved him. Family that Dillon is reunited with are his father; Dwight Sayers, Jr., brother; Marcus Maxwell, great grandparents; Roman and Evon Beaulieu, Dorothy and Francis Downwind and Ethel and Matthew Sayers, great grandmother; Lois Marie Kingbird, step father; Brian Maxwell, cousins; Harley Sayers and James Rojas III and his friend Anthony Hegstrom.

Dillon leaves behind his mother; Renae Kingbird-Beaulieu of Red Lake, sisters; Delanie Desjarlait of Bemidji, Shaleigh “Chub” (Tyrell Sr.) Beaulieu, Brianne “Breezy” Maxwell and Ceigh Sayers all of Red Lake, brother; Dominic Desjarlait of Red Lake, maternal grandparents who raised Dillon; Della Kingbird and Timothy Beaulieu, Sr., paternal grandparents; Carolyn and Dwight “Iggy” Sayers, Sr., special uncles; Tim Beaulieu, Jr., Randy (Jessica) Sayers, Sr. and Bruce Sayers, Sr., special nieces and nephews; Tycee, Tyleigh, Tyrell Jr. Brown and his name sake Tre Dillon James Brown, the love of his life; Shania RedDay, several other relatives and too many friends to mention. An overnight wake for Dillon will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 3rd and continue until his 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, May 4th all to be held at the New Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN. Father Jerry Rogers will officiate.

Pallbearers for Dillon will be Byron Kingbird, Jr., Randy Sayers, Sr., Elmer Beaulieu, Cody Cook, Ayden Lussier and Bruce Sayers, Jr. Alternate pallbearers are Arlen W. Jourdain and Frank “Garb” Barrett. His honorary pallbearers are all his siblings; Shaleigh Beaulieu, Delanie Desjarlait, Brianne Maxwell, Ceigh Sayers and Dominic Desjarlait, other honoraries are Randy Sayers, Jr., Tim Beaulieu, Jr., Charles Goodwin, Winona RedDay, Wanda Bellanger, Rashonda Roberts, Dezarae Sayers, Kerry Sayers, Lichelle Sayers, Macy Sayers, Jessica (May) Sayers, Dylan Cook, Lilah Beaulieu, Teanna Beaulieu and Pebbles Jourdain. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN following services.
