Dirk Edward Ylonen, age 62, of Antigo, died at his home on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Dirk was born on July 14, 1956 in Illinois to the late Edward and Janet (Bender) Ylonen. Dirk was a graduate of Lutheran North High School.

He worked as a salesperson in marketing and advertising. He later worked for FedEx as a delivery person. He moved to Antigo in 2017.

He remained a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He was a member of Antigo Lions Club. Dirk enjoyed fishing and simply hanging out with the boys at BB’s.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. A celebration of Dirk’s life will take place on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 3:00 PM at BB Jack’s. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care.
