Obituary for Dixie Chappell (Thomas) Print CHAPPELL, Dixie (nee Thomas) – 83, of Wyckoff passed away on February 8, 2019. Born in Paterson she was a long time resident of Wyckoff. A graduate of John Tyler Community College in Chester Virginia and Le Cordon Bleu of London, England.

Dixie was a Food Service Director for Fair Oaks Hospital in Summit. Devoted mother of Lenore D. Moramarco and her husband Joseph of North Haledon, Richard Chappell and his wife Elizabeth of Wyckoff and Amy Slutkin and her husband Andrew of Maryland. Loving grandmother of Stacy Moramarco-Levy, Jocelyn and Logan Chappell and Jared and Aaron Slutkin and great-grandmother of Carson, Jack and Cole Levy.

Dear sister of the late William Thomas. The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 9:30 -11 am followed by an 11 am service at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Interment Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
