Obituary for Dolores Amaro Dolores Amaro was born in Merced, California on February 15, 1950. She passed away at her home in Kerman, California on July 7, 2018 at the age of 68. She is preceded in death by her son Manuel Amaro in 1976.

She is survived by her husband Art Amaro of Kerman; son Alejandro Amaro of Sacramento; daughters Sylvia Amaro and Maricela Amaro both of Kerman; sisters Helen Dicochea of Los Banos, Hope Solano of Newman and Blanche Whitman of Newman; brothers Joe Solano of Newman and Richard Solano of Ceres; also four grandchildren survive. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 567 S. 6th Street, Kerman, CA 93630 on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Joachim’s Catholic Church, 1121 Main Street, Newman, CA 95360 on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow Mass at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman. Remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
