Dolores B. Tharp, of Townsend, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 30, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 71. Dolores was born, January 9, 1947, in Chester, Pennsylvania to the late, George & Mary (Kelly) Garvine.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, liked to travel, and cooking & gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Georgeanna. Dolores is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Tharp; 3 children, Pamela Wills & husband, Karl, of Smyrna; Richard Tharp & wife, Kelly, of Smyrna; and Jennifer DeAngelis & husband, Aaron, of Mary Esther, Florida; 5 grandchildren, Anthony, Aaron, Cody, Freddie and Reagan; and a great-grandchild, Dakotah.

Funeral Services will be held 8 pm, Monday, November 5, 2018 , in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. , Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view from 6-8 pm. Burial is private .
