Dolores Lorraine Nee Gehl Guerndt , May 13, 1927 — September 17, 2018

Dolores L. Guerndt of Hartford, was Born to Eternal Life, Monday, September 17th, 2018 at the age of 91 years. She was born May 13, 1927 in Hartford, the daughter of Joseph and Elanore (nee Baertlein) Gehl Sr She grew up on a family farm in Washington County.

She married Edmund Kling in 1947 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. After Edmund’s accidental death in 1958, she was a cook at Lincoln Grade School in Hartford for over twenty years until she retired. She married Kenneth Guerndt in 1973, at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church.

Following Kenneth’s death in 2007 she moved to Cedar Community in West Bend. Dolores is survived by her four loving children, David (Linda) Kling, Gary (Joan) Kling, James (Theresa) Kling and Nancy (Roger) Wolf, her brother-in-law Harold Beine, her sisters-in-law Ann Taylor, Marie Krenzlok and Veronica Brugger. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation is Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.- Noon at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, 226 South Main St, Hartford. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at Noon. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
