Obituary for Dolores Martha Trump Dolores M. Trump of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Franciscan Health Hospital of Rensselaer. Dolores was born in Pine River , Minnesota on April 27, 1924, the daughter of Adelor and Cecilia (Homan) Trudeau. Dolores graduated from Rensselaer High School with the class of 1942.
On November 28,1943 in Rensselaer, Dolores married J. Max Trump who passed away in 1989. Together they became parents of Patricia J. Haines of Remington, Susan (Denny) Healey, of Rensselaer, Monica Trump of Rensselaer, Donna Cain of Monticello and Diana (Ray) Gromley of Lafayette, IN. She was a maintenance operator for Century Link Telephone Company for many years where she then retired in the late 80’s.
Dolores was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, a St. Joseph’s College Fellow, and a member of the St. Joseph’s Puma 100 Club. She was a very proud democrat, she served on the Jasper County Democratic Committee and was also a member of the V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary. Dolores loved to go bowling and golfing and on her down time, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading and spending time outside in her flower garden.
Her biggest joy was spending time with her family. Surviving with her loving family are 15 grandchildren. 30 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren.
Two sisters Mary Ann Hamer of Rensselaer, and Elizabeth “Betty” Grow of Rensselaer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers Wilferd, Elmo, Clifford and Jerome Trudeau. Friends will be received at the Saint Augustine Catholic Church of Rensselaer on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Saint Augustine Catholic Church of Rensselaer with Father Don Davison officiating.
