Dolores M. Mooney (nee McStay) passed away after a brief illness on March 26, 2019 at the age of 76. She was a lifelong resident of Gibbstown and graduate of St. James High School. For over 30 years, Dolores drove bus #5 for the Greenwich Township Board of Education.

In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casinos and spending time in Sea Isle City with her children and grandchildren. The time she spent making precious memories will always be cherished by her children, Bill Mooney, Beth Ann Godfrey (Jeffrey), Jill Carbone (Brent). She was a loved and cherished mom-mom to her grandchildren, Jason Godfrey, Brent Carbone, Jenna Carbone, Devon Mooney and Jake Mooney.

She is survived by her brother, Hugh McStay (Peggy) of Gibbstown. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Bill Mooney, her parents, Francis and Margaret McStay, her granddaughter, Alyssa Godfrey and her brother Edward McStay. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm and Monday morning after 930 AM until time of Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Claire of Assisi Catholic Church 313 Memorial Ave.

Gibbstown, N.J until time of Mass. Faith played an important role in Dolores’ life, please join her family in celebrating a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment at New St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ.
