Dolores had three brothers; John, Richard and Michael and two sisters; Isolene (Bunny) and Clarice. At a young age Dolores gave her life to Christ and in her adult years attended Christ Universal Temple.

As a dietician, Dolores worked at The University of Chicago Hospital for over twenty years until she retired. She had three children Donald (preceded her in death), Paulette and Dwayne. Dolores had a heart as big as the sky.

She was very jovial and always cracking jokes making those around her laugh. With a raw no nonsense edge, Dolores lit up the hearts of her family and friends. It is with reclamation from the Heavenly father that Dolores leaves to cherish her memory one brother: Richard (Shirley), two children: Paulette and Dwayne; seven grandchildren: Donald Jr. (Keon), Dawn, Devon, Diamond, Olette, Dina, Yasmine, five great grandchildren: Oriana, Brooke, Damani, Donald III and Mariah, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
