Obituary of Dolores Heitzman Dolores Heitzman passed away February 27, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimers. Born September 10, 1933 in Covington, KY, Dolores attended Mount Notre Dame High School in Covington, KY. She married Richard F. Heitzman in 1952.

They had three children. After residing in Ohio for over 50 years, they moved to Florida. Dolores and Richard lived in Sun City Center for over 26 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and John Koenig. She leaves her loving husband, Richard after 67 years of marriage. She also leaves her three children; Michael (Linda) Heitzman of Memphis, TN; Rose (Michael) Vitale of Blue Ash, OH; and Tim (Ginny) Heitzman of Belmont, NC.

In addition, she leaves 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and one brother, Robert Koenig. A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center, FL on Thursday, March 7th at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass and service will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Covington, KY on Monday, March 11th at 10:00 AM with interment at St. John’s Cemetery in Covington, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made directly to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
