Obituary for Dominic Pinto Funeral Mass for Dominic Pinto, 89, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby. Fr.

Michael Troha will officiate. Mr. Pinto passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.

Born Nov. 12, 1929, in Oratino, Campobasso, Italy, he had been a resident of Willoughby for 68 years. Dominic was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, where he served as an usher at the Saturday 4:30 p.m. Mass and the noon Mass on Sunday.

He also helped with the Immaculate Conception Church Oktoberfest, where he helped with many projects and loved selling instant bingo tickets. He was also a member of the Unione E. Fratellanza Oratinese Club, Club Molisani and Willoughby Senior Center. His hobbies included playing cards, gardening, bowling, playing Bocce, making wine and scrapping metals.

Dominic retired from Cleveland Crane and Engineering after 35 years of service. He also worked as chauffer for John Sherwin of the Sherwin Williams Family and was a landscaper for various private residences. He was the loving father of Anthony J. Pinto, Joanna M. Pinto, Julie A. (Sean) Ward, and Lorie A. (Danny) Arnold; cherished grandfather of Nicholas M. (Melissa) Ward, Joseph M. (Allie) Ward, Stephanie A. Ward, Phillip M. Arnold, Natalie N. Arnold, Valerie M. Arnold and Jimmy P. Arnold; great-grandfather of Gianna, Ava, Ryder and Grayson; stepbrother of Henry (Sally) Silvaroli; brother-in-law of Vinnie Muccini; and uncle, cousin, friend and Paisano to many in the U.S., Canada and Italy.

Dominic was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary A. (nee Muccini) Pinto; parents, Domenico and Giuseppina (nee Silvaroli) Pinto; step-siblings, Tony Silvaroli, Victoria (Harry) Vaught, Carmella Silvaroli and John (Marcella) Silvaroli; and brother-in-law, Giuseppe “Joe” Muccini. Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby.
