OBITUARY Don A Davis November 19, 1941 – November 19, 2018 Don Allen Davis of East Ridge passed away on his 77th birthday. Don served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

Don graduated from the University of Chattanooga with a BS and finished his Master’s Degree at the University of Virginia. He worked in Banking and Finance with both American National and Union Planters. He loved street rods, enjoyed going to the beach.

Don never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.O. Davis and Nancy Pardue Davis. Left behind to cherish Don’s memory are his wife and best friend, Betty Davis, East Ridge, daughter Jennifer Davis, Tampa, FL.

, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and cousins from Maryville, TN. A Celebration of Don’s life will be held graveside at 10:00 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday November 23, 2018 with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions can be made in Don’s memory to St. Martin’s Episcopal Church or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd. East Ridge, TN 37412.
