OBITUARY Don Alexander April 17, 1938 – November 2, 2018 Don Alexander, 80, of Spring, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018. He was born to Joe and Mary Sue Alexander in Trinity, Texas, on April 17, 1938. Don was married to Pat Merritt on May 21, 1973.

He had a career in sales and worked for Port of Houston Valve. Deeply committed to those around him, he loved spending time with family and friends. He was also passionate about his job and loved going to work.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jorene Legg and Sue Waggoner; brothers, Ray and Wiley Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Pat Alexander; children, Ricky Alexander and wife, Adrienne; Darla Killen and husband, Craig; Russell and wife, Kelly; Candy Walk and husband, Carl; Rhonda Alvarez and husband, Cecil; and Richey Buck; grandchildren, Courtney Clary, Brittany Symank, Amber Jones, April Polnick, Hayley Grett, Summer Buck, Ryan Janik, Tyler Janik, Olivia Alexander, and Sophia Alexander; and great-grandchildren, Kaden Barnes, Kason Ellis, Kamryn and Kinsley Polnick, Hudson and Gatlin Jones, Braxton Grett, and Betty Clary; and siblings, Jerry Alexander and Sandy Cole. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.

A celebration of Don’s life will take place in Forest Park’s chapel on Wednesday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. and will be followed by a reception in the adjacent event room. The committal service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
