HUBBARDSTON – Donald C. Allen Jr., 60, of Hubbardston, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Donald was born in Millville, NJ on December 10, 1958 to Donald & Margaret (Quinlisk) Allen. Donald grew up in Gardner and married his beloved wife of twenty-seven years, Susan L. (Moriarty) Allen.

He was employed by Data Guide Cable in Gardner in the shipping Department for over thirty years. He was a member of the Hubbardston Rod & Gun Club and served on the Board of Directors for the club. He enjoyed fishing, the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins.

Donald was well known for his humor and quick wit. He is survived by his wife, Susan, stepson; Matthew Becker and his close friend Amanda Conrad of Hubbardston, brother; Gary Allen & his wife Kathleen, of Gardner, Sister; Debra Reynolds & her husband Paul of Texas, grandchildren; Gabriel & Jackson Miller; sister-in-law: Jeanne Mellitt of Ware; brother-in-law: Michael Moriarty of FL and several nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held May 5th from 1pm-4pm at the Hubbardston Rod & Gun Club.
