Donald E. Hill, of Conway, passed away on January 10, 2019, at the age of 80. Donald was born on March 9, 1938, in Moline, Illinois to Russell Eugene and Daisy Mae (Kaden) Hill. He was a 1957 graduate of Central High School in Little Rock, he retired after 43 years from Stebbins & Roberts / Sterling 12 Star Paint.

He spent six years in the Air National Guard. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Conway, where he volunteered at the CBC Food Pantry. He loved to travel and loved his job as a salesman because he loved meeting and talking with people.

He loved the challenge of being the million dollar salesman of the year and continued to achieve this success, ten years in a row. He took great pride in mowing his lawn multiple times a week and keeping the landscape pretty. He is survived by his spouse of 60 years, Betty Hill of the home; two daughters, Karen Heath (Dr. Kevin) of Little Rock; Ginger Coon (Jimmy) of Conway; brother, Roger Hill of Charlotte, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Drs.

Ryan Heath (Jordan) of Columbia, Mo; Britney McDonald (Griffin) of Houston, Texas; Drs. Andrew Heath (Elizabeth) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Jennifer Coon of Rogers, Arkansas; three great-grandchildren, Caroline Heath, Ellynne McDonald, Brooks Heath, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Ruth Sellers, and Patty Brown.

The family will host friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Central Baptist Church 3333 Dave Ward Drive Conway, Arkansas 72034. A Celebration of his life will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Don Chandler officiating also at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Gideons International.
