Donald Edward Strobl, 83, of Red Cloud, Nebraska died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the Webster County Community Hospital in Red Cloud. Don was born to Anne (Maruska) and Rudolph Strobl on December 11, 1935 at Red Cloud, Nebraska. Don was a retired foreman with the South Central Public Power District.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Sharon, on September 20, 2001. Left to treasure his memory are a daughter, Kathy Schiermeyer and husband, Gordon, of Guide Rock, Nebraska; sons, Allan Strobl of Red Cloud and Ron Strobl of Red Cloud; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Family services will be held at a later date.
