Donald Eugene Epley, age 80 of Columbus, died Thursday February 7, 2019 at his home. Donald was born in Columbus on February 1, 1939 to the late Thomas and Margaret (Russell) Epley. Donald owned and operated Epley Roofing for over 30 years after he served in the US Navy aboard the USS Toledo.

Donald was a member of the FOPA. He is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, and is survived by his wife Janice, daughter Cherie L. Epley of Florida, sister Jackie Didyk of Florida, anjd numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday February 13, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street Worthington where a funeral service will be held on Thursday February 14, 2019 at 11:00am.

Burial with US Naval Honors will be held at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the James Cancer Hospital in Donald’s memory. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Donald Epley please visit our Sympathy Store.
