Preceded in death by wife Rose Marie; parents Hildur and Alvar Nelson; infant brother Harvey. Survived by son Stephen (Althea); daughters Susanne (Steven) Glad and Patricia (Terry) Gaffney; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
