Obituary for Donald Keith Starks Sr. Donald Keith Starks, Sr., 92 Lakeland – Mr. Donald K. Starks, Sr passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018. He was born in Flint, MI and moved to Lakeland in 1978 from Troy, MI. Donald was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Pacific during WWII.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Louise Starks; daughter, Denise Hewer and brother, Robert Starks. Survivors include his children, Joan Culbert, Diane Diener, Debra Waineo, Donald Starks, Jr, Lisa Starks, Michelle Paulin; 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at a later date in Michigan.

Donald will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI alongside his wife, Martha Louise. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Gentry Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens.
