Obituary for Donald Keith Sweigard Donald Keith Sweigard age 90 of Upper Sandusky died Fri. Oct. 12, 2018 at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Oct. 12, 1928 to the late R. Lester & Magdalena (Scheck) Sweigard. He married Mary Alice Collins on Dec.

11, 1953 and she died June 24, 2016. Mr. Sweigard is survived by a daughter Deborah (Dan) Berg, Upper Sandusky, three grandsons and seven great grandchildren Eric (Katie) Berg and their children Jana, Julia, and Jace, Ryan (Karen) Berg and their children Gavin and Macie, David (Caitlin) Berg and their children Adley and Georgia. He was preceded in death by two brothers Gerald Sweigard and Cletus Sweigard, and a sister Mary Janet Ritterspach.

Mr. Sweigard graduated from USHS with class of 1946. He also attended Bowling Green State University. Mr. Sweigard was a Korean War Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He retired from U-Brand in 1981 as the Plant Manager. He then worked for U.S. Construction until 1997.

He built several homes in Upper Sandusky. Mr. Sweigard was a life member and past Exhalted Ruler of BPOE #83, life member of Amvets Post #777, and a former member of Moose Lodge #1093. He enjoyed wood working and gardening.

A graveside service with Military Honors conducted by the Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard will be held at 11:00AM Wed. Oct. 17, 2018 in Old Mission Cemetery with Rev.

David Odegard officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center-Activities Fund in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
