97, of Mt. Lebanon, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Elaine M. Nelson Saxon; loving father of Judith G. Scott; father-in-law of William C. Scott; devoted grandfather of Jennifer L. Scott; great-grandfather of Payge M. and Ryan J. Scott; brother of the late Richard Saxon.

Don was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II and was a retired engineer for U.S. Steel. He was also a longtime member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post #175 in Washington.

PA. The family will receive friends at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 12:00 until 3:00 PM, and on Monday, February 4, from 10:30 AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.

Interment with Military Honors will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3319 W. Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
