Obituary for Donald L. Tucker Jr. Donald Lee Tucker Jr., age 65, of Madison Heights, Michigan, succumbed to his 7 year battle to cancer at the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on Deceber 29, 2018. Donald is survived by his loving children, Don III (Sarah) Tucker of Mears, and Cheryl (Kevin) Muscott of Clinton Twp. ; his beloved siblings, Bobbie (Sue) Tucker of Livonia, Eddie (Debbie) Tucker of Howell, Helen (Dale) Schumaker of St. Clair, and Linda (Mike) Pare of Florida; his former wife and friend, Beverly Tucker; and many dear grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Donald was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to everyone. Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Sr. and Dorothy Tucker. Donald loved to help out a friend in need and always came prepared with quick wit full of humor.
He worked as a HVAC supervisor and technician for over 40 years. Many of those years were spent dedicating himself to being an entrepreneur where he went on to start a Heating and Cooling business with Beverly Tucker. His passion for work always came second to the love he had for his family.
Donald’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his “grandpeeps” (as he would say). He was an amazing man, a fighter and Superman strong till the end! He was the most loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone.
He will be deeply missed. A special thank you to the people at Premier Hospice in Michigan for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Wm.
Sullivan and Son for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time. Donald’s family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road, Royal Oak.
