Donald R. Lister, 79, of Claypool passed on to his heavenly home on January 4, 2019 at Parkview Randallia, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born November 23, 1939 in Chester, IL to Earl and Lillian (Winkleman) Lister. He grew up in Rolla, MO moving later to Indiana where he met and married Merdena Tucker on November 7, 1964.

She survives. He served in the US Army from 1962-1964. He was employed in Warsaw at Union Tool, retiring from Little Crow Foods in 2003.

He enjoyed watching humming birds, old westerns, NASCAR, and his beloved cat, Smokie. He is survived by his wife, Merdena Lister, Claypool, IN; his son Neil and wife Michelle Lister of Claypool, and also four brothers and two sisters. His parents preceded him along with four sisters.

No calling prior to the service. A service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Burial will be held at Ulrey Memorial Cemetery following the service.

Pastor Jamy Gregory will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to McKee Mortuary.
